This is a big commitment, at least in my opinion. It is 60 miles in total. However, I have had loss in my family and I am willing to take the effort. It's supposedly genetic, and the more research, the better.
Obviously...
Although, I am kind of wary of walks. I don't question the fact that the money goes to research, but how many walks have there been over the years?
What do you think?
P.S. I realize this topic kind of flipped topics, but it is something on my mind. I have participated in other breast cancer fundraisers, and I suppose I am emotionally torn because of my loss.
Does anyone work more internally with these organizations who can give some insight? Is any progress actually being made?
