Actually, that question does have an answer. Fingers are different lengths because in the days of early man, we walked with help from our hands. The varying finger lengths are for balance - fingers of the same length aren't very good for balancing and distributing weight. And that's why we have fingers of differing lengths.

I was pointing out the flaw in your discussion. You told people to post questions which don't have answers and started it off with a question that *does* have answers.
And please don't call me dear, where I come from it's considered an insult from someone you don't know.
