I am taking a short break in between re-watching all three matrix movies back to back. I have a new understanding of why Neo faught all the multiple agent Smith's. At the end of the fight nothing was resolved, he just flew out of there. When the protector of the "Fortune teller" fought Neo before he let him near the Oracle, he explained that you truely do not know a person till you fight them. That could explain it.
