how do you really make money on ebay?

Ive tried and tried to make money on ebay but with the fees and the cost of shipping. you never make nothing... any ideas??? thanks for your input...

I havent been able to with the paypal fees, ebay fees, and shipping I make change on the item. Its really not worth it for me.
