Homosexuality

Do you think that homosexuality is an unforgiven sin in the eyes of god? I have a brother who is gay and im concerned because alot of people believe that he will not be saved because this sin is detested in the eyes of God. I worry about this often because I love my brother very much... Please give me your opinion, i would appreciate it.
