blender 3d vs 3ds max 8

I dont know about 3ds max 8, but i use blender very often. Blender is great and easy to learn. I made my avatar with blender and its originaly animated. I made other things with blender, and its very cool. So i would tell you to use blender. And its free to use. Its great to use Blender.

well software are not important my friend. let me tell you that animation is an art like paiting. so it is not important if you use water colors or oil paint. it is you choice and ease of use. but the main thing is not the color used, but the content. what is the thinking behind the art. just the same way animation can be done in many softwares like maya, max, blender, animo etc etc etc. and the list goes on. so learn one and you can adjust yourself to any other one. but the main is how well you know animation. the principals, the acting etc.] thanks Amitav Roy http://www.creativeporta.com

3ds max is really powerful but harder to use and it costs a lot, Blender3D is free,open source, easy to use, less powerful than 3ds max but still very good. I'd choose Blender3D ;)
