I think that the price is realy low. Its not a problem to get so much money. The problem is how to get it there. If you use PayByCash metod, its a lot more (mailing price, PayByCash fee...) and there is possible that mail get lost.
But i am sure that Jagex(developer of RuneScape) gets payed a lot, becouse theres a lot of players paying. RuneScape is realy popular game.

not forgetting that there is up keeping costs of many staff who will be on alot alot of money as they are programmers and graphic designers and also the cost to run servers and also the cost of being able to use the payment facilities, he/she will be well off but not as well off as you think.

Yeah, id say its a pretty good price considering, you can walk voer the whole world unlike if your a free- member you can only go around 1 place. Plus you can open these chests, drawers, and e.t.c. to find cool items, fight the hardest creatures ever, get clothes you can only get if your a member, go past a lvl of 100, and e.t.c. there is sooooo much things if your a member that i cant say all of them (too much). you can even build your own house!! id say its pretty cheap, especially considering how much WoW costs.
P.S. Always MINE!!! you can get different ores and make them into bars and find special jewels if your lucky. Just a tip to make money :)

This is definitely a great price. It is cheap and helps out runescape so they may make more additions to this fine game. It also is not a vast hole in your wallet either. It makes more people want to become members because of how easy it is to do it. All you need is either a phone, credit card, paypal/e-gold, and you will be able to afford it easily for at least one month.

it's pretty good in my opinion, only $5 for unlimited playing month on a really fun game that we enjoy. with so many bonus features, so much better then f2p and only $5. I just wish u didnt need Credit card or phone call. I wish u could just like pull a $5 out of ur wallet and like stick in the computer like a vending machine or something lol. thatd be a lot easier.

Runescape is realy good game. It has about 1-2 milion active players. Look WoW- this game has 7 milion players and if you want to play it, you have to pay much more then for runescape i think its 3x more then runescape. And in runescape you can be free player, in WoW this is not possible, you are playing when your are paying. I am now runescape member for about 3 months, payed for 4th month, then i will stop membership and train skills. The only bad things in this game is... its kind a old. Look the graphic... And there is like a lot of autoers and scammers and key loggers. But I think it's still realy good game for these times.

I think you should just be able to buy it once and for all. Like most games are about 50 or 60 depending on the system. You should be able to buy it once and for all. This would almost even out because people would quit the game without using all the months that it would have cost, but then the people who play it for years would save a lot of money. I don't like the idea of spending 85$ a year about just because I pay by paypal. Anyways I think it's unfair because you can't own it forever.

I think $5 a month is totally reasonable with a credit card. This next month I'll have to pay over $7 bucks through PayPal If I want to stay a member. I think that is a bit uncalled for. I was thinking of getting a PayPal debit card to use on Runescape as a credit card. My parents won't let me though. I probably won't renew my membership.

I think it is a good price because it is alot cheeper then other games out there but the price can add up depending on how many members months you plan on playing but i would say it should be cheaper because the quality of the game which isn't that good the quality could be much beter with all the money they have now they could easily move from java to somthing much better. So they can have better graphics ect thats what i think because it would be just more fin with a more realistic game to be playing. well thats that i think.
