have you seen CINEMA PARADISO directors cut?WHAT DO YOU SAY?

I think the first version was way better than the recent director's cut version. That's because the first one gave a perfect ambiguous ending. The fact that toto will never see the girl again added a more dramatic effect to the film. The film was already perfect until the recent one came out to ruin it all. In the director's cut. they added the scene where toto finds out that elena is already a married woman. Because of that he gets frustrated and the movie continues from where it left. This part just weakened the feel-sorry-for-toto feeling at the end of the movie. All the mystery was revealed.
