Can we wipe out poverty?

Do you think that poverty cannot be wiped out from this planet and some people will be poor as long as human race exists... or we can to do something to help the poor. Any suggestions please??.

Well .. as an optimist .. I would say .. yes .. We can do wipe out poverty .. but as you know .. It isn't simple for obvious reasons.. There has to be a revolution .. a movement .. which must be initiated by a whole generation ... In Most of the revolutions. .. a whole generation has to put efforts .. without even thinking about their own selves .. Suggestions would be .. . eh .. First everybody has to be generous .. I mean certainly we would be needing help from the upper class people .. who are rich .. they have to take part in donations , charities .. etc . . Secondly .. A sound free education must be provided at the root level .. and many more suggestions are there .. but the point is .. are we ready to do the sacrifice ?? are we ready to push ourselves into this revolution sole heartedly?

I think you are absolutely right! You mean to say we can but still we can't right.. because it should be a collective effort of all the people and a lot depends upon the upper class society without whose contribution nothing or very little can be acheived.

i dont think we can. as much as we, work hard, others are working only half as much as us. poverty can be solved by one's self. no other can help us but us.

I think it is a very difficult task.But,to some extend we can do it.For it each and every citizen of the country should play a part for it.

The future is bleak... In the not too long future... those people dying from starvation will envy those living in poverty. We are heading for a population of 9 billion by 2042. And 13 billion by 2080. Unless we come up with a solution to double our food production... billion of people will die from starvation. That's a lot worse than poverty.
