This is the story:
I have been working in a company for 3 years now and i have an officemate who is at the same room with me. She is ahead of me for one year and when there was a reshuffling of duties, somehow she became my assistant sortof. I have so many responsibilities at hand while she just sits there all day waiting to be told by me. So i gave her the biggest responsibility to free my hand and also because i am about to take my maternity leave this month.
Before she used to be my friend when she was still the telephone operator and we eat lunch together, but it turns out i don't like her personality at all and i tell my other friend who also knows her. I could not help myself but i don't know if i hate her because she lacks enthusiasm with work ans she makes mistakes all the time. It seems as if her mind is always away from work and she speaks slowly.
Here is the question: Why do i hate her or gets irritated by her? Am i a bad person? Is it possible that i envy her?is there a reason?

i also experienced that too and yes i hated her too but of course she needs to learn more so i tried to teach that girl so she would know what to do next time,i think we can hate them but in a short time only then try to teach them well to be good in their task.

From what I read this person is obviously not performing well, and before it stresses you out more may be you should bring this up to your boss, or your HR department. You cannot be friends with everybody, especially at work which is an environment where people are in constant competition. I think may be you are also worried to leave her with your responsibilities seeing that she is already having trouble with her normal job routine.
I would definitely seek help from my superiors regarding the subject, maybe understanding the reasons why she cannot do the job will help you understand her personnality better and thus will bring you to a reasonnable level of feeling towards her (i.e. compassion instead of anger)
Good Luck !
