GREED is important to be progressive in LIFE.............

I think you mistake the word 'greed' for the more accurate 'will to succeed'. I tell people that I am 'selfish'... and they immediately think I want to hurt other people. It's the exact opposite... what is good for the people around me is also good for me, so when I strive to make them happy, it is also for my own benefit! So that we can ALL enjoy life and being together!

have you ever heard of a greedy dog looking into a pond with a bone in his mouth. that is what happens to a greedy person. To get more money and fame, a greedy person would dig his own pit and fall into it. It is important to focus on your goals but a greedy person in pursuit of more wealth would distroy his own wealth.

In some ways or instances, the only thing a person can do to succeed and be rich is to be greedy. and yes, it will really make him/her progressive when she does and yes.. it is bad and they'll only realize how it damaged them when they fail. you are right, it is a part of human nature.. and it is a part where we have to prevent to keep it from damaging our lives and the lives of others. good topic! :)

Greed is more than wanting to succeed. It is wanting taken to excess where you are willing to walk over other people to get what you think you should have even to the point of stopping others from succeeding. I think of greed as one of the most destructive traits that anyone can develop because it keeps you from sharing with others, being generous with what you do have, and caring about the feelings of others. (If you believe in what God has to say in the Bible, greed will destroy your soul, so it is something to be avoided at all costs.
