What is your pet peeve about people in general?

I confess that it bothers me when people talk LOUDLY in movie theaters while I am trying to watch a movie. I feel it shows a lack of respect for others in the theater.
As I mentioned on another post, it bothers me whenever someone drives by and throws their trash out onto my lawn.
It really bothers me whenever I am in a restaurant and someone who is intoxicated decides they like my menu choice better than their own! I actually had someone sit down and start eating from my plate.
What are some of your pet peeves? It's okay, vent, get it all out.

I have never traveled by train, but that is one thing on my agenda for this summer. I am so looking forward to it, too. So I should take ear plugs and eye mask? : ) This is the same problem on planes that I have encountered while traveling. Thank you for the warning!

I'm a very reserved woman and what I hate most are people who are nosey. They try to peek into my privacy. But they don't really what to help at all. Just trying to know everything about a person especially the bad experiences and weaknesses.
I also dislike people who are bigoted, opionated, and conceited.
And I don't like people who always complain as if there's nothing good in about anything.

Cell phones ARE irritating. I have a couple of friends that can't live, even a few minutes, without them. When I have to wait, over and over, to talk to someone while they're answering calls, I get very aggravated.
Another pet peeve is calling someone, or they call me, and they're not even paying attention to our conversation, but everybody around them, hollering at kids in my ear, etc.

Oh I know! You want to ask them why they bothered calling you if they did not have time to talk with you. There does seem to be an attraction with kids seeing their parents on the phone and deciding they want attention. Mine were extremely bad about that.

My biggest pet peeve is people and cell phones. I admit, I have one but it's mainly for emergancies and very few people have that number. I also am aware that many people today don't have a "land line" and their cell phone is their main or only phone.
My peeve is I don't walk around with my home phone on my ear 24/7. It annoys me to no end when I'm talking to some one face to face and they "get a call", or driving while on the phone. I think it's rude, inconsiderate, and dangerous to be spending so much time on the phone and not paying attention to what is right in front of them.

Oh yes, the dreaded cell phone. I had forgotten about that one. I have to have one for my work, but when I am out of town that baby is turned off. It is also inconsiderate and rude to hear them going off in theaters. I have a visual of people walking around with their home phone attached to their ear now! : )
