Single mom- no childcare worried about summer income update / myLot

Thanks to all who have been wonderfully supportive at this time. I did break down and get food assistance, so we are eating better and I'm not as terrified as I was previously. Also I have taken a leap and posted classified ads for computer repair services in the local papers (just one right now but I'm going to do more as money comes in). I have actually gotten a couple of calls and I just take my kid with me and work on these systems. I still haven't found any childcare, but my boss is willing to let me take my little one once in a while to work if I have to, so with that and any computer jobs those ads generate, I should be able to frugally scrape by this summer. Thank you all again for your support. You are all greatly appreciated for helping me work through this.

Hello. Good to hear from you again. I'm so glad things are looking better for you. Just hang in there and it will all work itself out soon. Maybe it is meant for you to be with your child, so I think it is great you can take your little one with you sometimes. Good luck and I will keep you in my prayers.

Thanks for the response! Things have really started looking up, cause I'm getting several inquiry calls and stuff so I'm really pleased and a lot more relaxed. I used to work on computers full time before I moved in this area but it hasn't really taken off here -- so I was sweating worried about a job this summer. One person told me about the craigslist in this area so I even posted there. I am in hopes that I can hold onto enough money so that even if everything dries up for a couple of months during summer I will still be able to pay bills if nothing else, which is a lot more hope than I had a couple weeks ago.
