Why are Australian teams and athletes so very good at sport? Whether it's cricket, rugby, tennis, swimming (and now even football): they excel at most every sport and seem to be real winners. Why should this be the case? Is it something in the Australian psyche, a national obsession? What do you think?

I don't think that Australians are obsessed by sport. They like sport but specially they have wonderfull sport facilities all over in the country. I cannot remmeber how many grounds, fields I saw there. They are good in sports because is easy for them find a place (often for free) to practice. They have a good weather, good facilities, free practice fields and a big sport organization.

Yes, they do have great facilities but I think there is a genuine winning mentality as well.
