What do Stock Brokers do?

I've learned that stock broakers earn a lot. But Iam not sure what they exactly do to earn that much. Well I think majority of the people here in MyLot are for some extra earnings. I am also the same. As an undergraduate in a rural area which is isolated from evrery aspect that a city might have except this broad band connection of Internet, I am doing this as a part time Job.
If this discussion produces good answers about Stock Brokers then I think it will be very informative and useful for all of us here in MyLot

stock brokers are the people who you talk to if you want to buy stocks or sell stocks.

Yes stock brokers do earn a lot of money this is very true as long as they invest in the right options open to them, they buy stocks exactly as the word suggests. There are many sites where you can read and receive a lot of information in stock brokerage.

I think that u have to have alot of knowledge to be a good stockbroker, and also prepared to loose alot of money if something doesn´t turn out the way you thought.
What they do is that they buy and sell stocks and hope to make money from selling them more expensive than they bought them for.. Hope that helped!
