Claire's father - good or bad?

Not the birth father, her 'father' with the glasses. He seems like he'd do anything for his family (including wiping their memories for their own good, which is kind of creepy even if it's good intentioned). He seems to care a lot for them. But he also obviously has a lot of hidden agendas.
So whose side is he on, do you think? Good or bad? And if he ends up squared against the Heroes, do you think Claire's presence on the other side could turn him?

I thought he was a bad guy, also, in the beginning. But, I think his intentions are good, though his methods are not. I think Mohinder was right to be afraid of him the first time he saw him. The man has a lot of control over people in many ways, even though he doesn't have powers that we know of.

He may have powers. After all his organization is tracking Heroes, how are they doing it? They don't have Dr. Saresh's research, and they have made a point that he travels around personally alot (ie. the bears of the world collection Claire has). Perhaps he has the ability to sense other heroes.

I thought he was horribly wicked in the beginning, but as the show's progressed, I really think that he's stuck in the middle right now, between duty and his daughter's safety. Until now he's used his resources to protect Claire from the truth, stopping at nothing to make sure he can keep her safe. Does he know something about her that we don't know yet? They did make that whole big deal out of Saving the Cheerleader, Save the World... so does she have some purpose he knows about?

I think he's really, really creepy. Destroying his daughter's best friend's memory and making him not even remember their friendship. Doing the samr thing to his own son and wife (repreatedly according to phycho brain blocker guy) and Claire. If I were Claire, moving or running away and never speaking to daddy again would be way high up on my personal agenda.

I think he is doing a lot of the stuff to his family to protect them from the people he works for. When he has worked with the other heros like Issac and Eden, he did not do anything to make them forget their abilities, and he only wiped Matt's (the cop) memory of what they did to him, but not his power. So I think there is something he knows that he is trying to keep Claire from getting involved with, but I think it may be related to what the Heroes are going to be fighting against.

I think he is a good guy. Basically he is preparing the Heroes for something. I think he works for some sort of government agency that wants to use them as agents. Its obvious he answers to someone above, so to my thinking it is either Linderman or the government (or both).

I think he has good intentions, but he doesn't always handle things the best way possible. At first I thought he was a bad guy, but now he's clearly not. He's trying to do what is best not only for Claire but for all of the Heros.
Of course this could always change as the show continues!
