Can you quit smoking? I dare you to stop!

I started smoking when I was a sophomore in high school. It was just for curiosity's sake. I'd smoke two to three sticks a day and told myself that I wasn't a chain-smoker and never will be.
But recent events changed it. Depression from my cheater of a husband made me burn one pack in two days.
It stayed with me for a few days, but I told myself it won't do me good especially when I felt some pains in my back and stopped it totally! Now, I am enjoying one month of cigarette-free life.
The big question is; CAN YOU DO IT?

I think I can't for now. Very difficult to stop smoking, I've smoking at least 3 - 4 years. In a single day, I can smoke 8 sticks, can you imagine that? From 8 sticks then gone to stop totally, very difficult I think. In my heart, yes I want to stop smoking, but in reality it is difficult.

I quit! I started to cut back when my husband and I decided to start trying for a baby and I completly quit (havn't had a single one) once I thought I might be pregnant. Three days later I found out I was and thats it, no smoking for me!
Quitting is hard, but totally do-able. Congrats on one month smoke free!!

Thanks thunderofsins! I hope to continue this for as long as I can and congratulations to you, too. Smoking is really bad for pregnant people and it is a good thing you stopped smoking.
