Snoring is prevalent in someone having a disturbed sleep..We've heard of unsuccessful marriages due to snoring..How pathetic??..Well..however there are a few tips to reduce snorning!..The best way is to be tired before going to sleep, so that you'll fall asleep sooner and get into a deep sleep. Also, sleeping on sideways will help.Avoid alcoholic and dairy products and smoking.Taking some honey before sleeping and maintaining a regular routine of sleep hours helps.Avoid taking rich and heavy food before you sleep. Well, its tough, but can be tamed! At home, my parents are terrible snorers, and they havent tamed it yet..They can never get a routine sleep, they say its hard...I alsways see to it that we never sleep in the same room..lol..

Hmmm.. Good tips!! I will definitely ask others to follow if required!! One more suggestion added to this!! You know what?
Take two pieces of thick cloth and block the air coming out from your mouth and nose!! Try this with some one who have the habit of snoring!! It really helps!!
People this is for fun!! I think no one is foolish to try this at home!!

Fortunately i dont snore, but my dad does . My mom cant stop complaining, though in a funny way. But there is nothing he can do about it.. He has been snoring for ages now and will continue to do so... I wish there was pill available that could stop the snoring...

You know this might sounds funny to you, i use to snore than my husband do. Sometimes in the middle of the night, he would wake me up because i was snoring too loud. And he would ask me to change my position in sleeping. Well thanks for the tip. I'll try it.

Snoring is actually due to the accumilation of fat on your body. This results in the some sort of obstruction in taking breath. So such kind of sound is made while taking air in.It is very if one snores in sleep. One should have the daily routine of sleep for minimum 6 hrs. This can also help in reducing snoring.

accumulation of fat??..r u sure?..coz i've seen very thin people snore heavily...and also..many fat people dont snore...but the number of hours you get to sleep is important!!

Thanks for the tips! I always snore after drinking apparantly. Unfortunately I smoke while I drink and this compounds it. It's terribly embarrassing as a young woman to find out you snore like an old man. My dad is a heavy snorer and I remember hearing him from the other side of the house. I dread to think I could sound like that! I'm glad it's just a situational thing for me and I don't snore every night.
I know there are special pillows designed to reduce snoring and there are many products like special nose pegs on the market, but I haven't tried these myself.

well..the best is to try the natural ways of preventing the snores...the nose pegs might be a big bother..as for the pillows..i don have any idea

For chronic snorers, try getting them to sleep on their side instead of on their back. It does help. :)
