My grandfather slept with his EYES OPENED???

Do you know of anyone who did this? I never knew that it was possible until I visited my grandfather in the hospital before he died. My dad told me he has always slept with his eyes open...
I never knew such a thing was possible! Do you or anyone you know sleep with their eyes opened??

LOL, my youngest daughter does this all the time! Her eyes will be half open and rolling! It use to scare me when I'd go check on her at night and she'd be like that. I'm use to it now, but I often wonder if she dreams what she sees...as in when she's in her bed, is she dreaming she's in her room? lol, guess I'll never know.

My eyes don't close all the way when I sleep. They aren't completely open, but they aren't completely shut either.
