With the advancement in technology arises new medical discoveries and based on what I have read on the newspapers and other publications, excessive use of the computer may lead to carpal tunnel syndrome. This is caused by the repetitive static movement in the hands of the person that eventually causes complications in the ligaments and nerves of the hands of an individual.
What can you say about this?
Have you had the same experience as mine where your right hand feels stressed caused by long usage of the mouse? What experience have you had where your hands feels stressed or numb?

I have noticed that since I have used the computer alot and type alot that my right arm that I use to control the mouse with, has a pain in it every so often. the pain in my arm moves to different areas daily. I cannot move it in certain ways sometimes. I never know from day to day where the pain will be in my arm and how much it will restrict what I need to do.

Try to stretch or relax your arms from time to time so that your arms won't be too contricted with the same movement you do when using your pc.

Hi stiffened! Welcome to myLot!
It is really scary but it is true as for now I didn't feel it yet.
carpal tunnel syndrome is a disease of the wrist and hand, which is caused by abnormal pressure on the median nerve.
Symptoms usually begin gradually and may consist of burning, tingling, pain and/or, numbness in the thumb, index and middle fingers and in the palm of the hand.
I asked my husband buy me a wrist pad so that my wrist are in rest as I type to avoid such symptoms, sometimes when I was not typing I have to hold ice in my palm studies shows it really works.
