Who Am I?...have you wondered, too?

For the past two weeks, my cell group has been meeting, and we are currently discussing on IDENTITY. At first glance, I thought the new topic is quite usual, to the point of having no appeal to me, at all. However, when I got the chance to study the material...Whoa! This could really be interesting, and I am starting to see myself in a different way...not that I look physically different, but the real essence of being ME.= To start with, we shared our views, even the people's general view on Human Nature; and we came up with ideas that you could call 'out-of-this-world', but we really can't blame them, they grew up with such belief, and the most we can do is respect them. Isn't it that some view human as a mere speck of God's creation, while others say, he is only a by-product of the ape's evolution? Some argue that he came from a former life, when the 'now' is justified by that earlier life; when others firmly believe that 'today' is the only life we had and will have...what could be the real thing? I am a Bible-believing person, and based on the sacred book (Genesis chapters 1 &2), it is so wonderful that our GREAT God didn't see us in the way we see ourselves. 'Coz for Him, we aren't just one of His creations, but special works of love whom He breathed to life AFTER preparing all the things we will be needing. It was such a great thing to hold on, especially at times when I am tempted to self pity or just feel sorry for myself for no reason, at all. It was a brighter light that lit my at-times weary heart, and a wonderful reminder that, though others regard me as plainly the person they see...I am way too special in God's sight...it's just so comforting.= That wasn't just it...I am to now more FACTS on who I really am when I get to finish this valuable material with my cell group...and I think I would really enjoy this stuff!=
