when hobby becomes profession there is no hobby

It does not have to be that way. You can combine the two while making money from your hobby. It is only if you become obsess with the money side of it that it cease to be a hobby. I don't think that there are too many people out there earning a living from their hobby. As you rightly say... if it is your only source of income... it would quickly cease to be a hobby. The whole concept of having a hobby... is to take time off work and relax. So yes... the deeper I go into this... the more I agree with you.

hobby can only be a profession if you don't enjoy doing it anymore. but combining both and you still enjoy, it can be both.

A hobby is something somone enjoys doing. So if they love doing it profesionaly, why not still call it a hobby.

if hobby becomes a profession cos u want d money,it ceases to be a hobby. if hobby becomes a profession cos u want to hav a job u love to do, it remains in ur hobbies list.
