Is it right for either party to beat up on each other to solve issues rather than talking it out like adults. What do you think?

Of course domestic violence will not solve anything, instead it will bring more comflict to the misunderstanding. In order to solve this, people should be aware of their rights and they should have the strength to fight for what they really feel, don't be scared.

Of course is not right. People always looks for the worst way to solve problems. Why don't we learn that fighting does not solve anything. Just get worst problems. Please, this is a society problem and we all are involved on that, so let's try to make the best we can

This is true. Fighting won't solve a thing. If they could learn to be more responsible, then the world would be a better place. My father THOUGHT he was going to abuse my mother, BUT no man has ever come through her door and beat her; it's the opposite. That was instilled in me and I will not let any man or whoever run over me. I don't have to be physical about it, but I'll stand my ground.

of course domestic violence should never be a way to solve any problems with in a relationship. people who hurt their partners don't totally respect their other half...

Although this is true, some folks don't see it that way. They think that if they can beat up their spouse/siginificant other/partner, it gives them a sense of power over the relationship when it should be 50/50 without the abuse.
