get the publish version number to a variable

Visual Basic 2005 Express Edition - that's what I see when I open VB 2005 EE

I want to get the publish version number of my program into a variable. In the old Visual Basic 6 Prof. was it easy. But now there are so many Version Functions but I don't find the one which is automaticly increased after a publish. Someone can help me there?
