If you're into weird and wacky sites on the internet, there's a new one out there at http://www.cheddarvision.tv where you can literally watch cheddar mature.
The highlight of the day is around 10am when the cheddar is turned over *laugh*
Can you believe that this website has apparently already had 47,000 hits? LOL! I'm tempted to be the 47,001st visitor! ^_~
What are some interesting sites that you've found around the internet with themes that you never would've believed you'd see online?

LO! Well, I remember you saying once here that you loved our British sense of humour, so this is a good one for you! I have read about this in our newspapers here. Personally, I would prefer just to look in my fridge, because I'm sure I have some old pieces of Cheddar there :-))

That is the strangest thing i have ever heard! how peculiar.... why on earth would you want to watch cheese mature? It would be about as exciting as watching grass grow!

Here's a site that is a bit more interactive than watching cheddar age: http://www.bored.com/
There are all kinds of stupid and mindless things to do here. There are jokes, games, hoaxes to send to friends, songs... you name it. If you want to waste some time, you can easily do it here.

It seems like someone has to be a "quart low" in the creativity tank to come up with something like this!
I hope that they "whey" the TV show decisions more carefully next time! LOL!

Now this is definitely my kind of website. My brother and I used to enjoy finding such bizarre sites and emailing the hyperlink to each other. As a result I have visited sites that show paint drying, a site that claimed to be the smallest because it was 1 pixel in size and even a site that claimed to be powered by a potato.
This is a fabulously ridiculous site and I cannot wait to email my brother as soon as I have posted this response.
I find it hard to believe that only 47000 people have visited the site, internet surfers today are far too fussy.

Well, I am the 169322 visitor as of posting this response to your discussion. How boring is the person's life that thought to do this site! Can you imagine.

That's hilarious! It's like the TV channel that just shows fish swimming around in a bowl, or the other tv channel that just shows a fire burning (although this one makes sense, it's only on a Christmas time).
I found a website (through a blog) where would be authors posted their rejection letters. It was pretty funny, the would be authors' responses to form letters.

My personal favorite at the moment is http://www.willitblend.com , by Blendtec. The Do Not Try at Home videos are rather scary! This is not the sort of blender you'd want to get your hand caught in...it blends cubic zirconia and magnets, for crying out loud. o_o
