Yes it is benificial to delete...coz this is dust only....cockies and temp internet files are generally created to access the site temporarily without inet connection but when it will become consume gr8 space then obviously it is a problem...better to clean periodically...no prob and carry on ur browsing..

It's safe. Temporary file will decrease your storage and cookies does too.
If you want to make your computer faster, u can upgrade processor and memory.
Or u can do this regularly task
1. clean up
2. defragment
3. scan disk.
4. clean prefecth file

Some technicians say no need to delete cookies but I always delete after I go to personal financial pages just in case I get hacked. Do you think other people can get our info from the cookies. Companies, that you visit, uses these cookies to get info on you. If we delete then their cookies or not there for them to use for infor. Am I right I want to be safe. It is simple to delete.

You should delete the temporary files and cookies from your computer frequently. If you don't, it will slow down your machine a lot. Just go to your control panel, internet settings, then there's a tab on it to delete cookies and temporary internet files. Also, check off "delete offline content" as it will delete the temporary files that are stored offline. There's no harm to your computer when you delete these files, but it will severely slow down your computer if you don't ever delete. I do it daily here since I surf the net so much. Good luck!! :)

Normally cookies and temporary files can be deleted they do at times degrade your internet performances, but cookies can be used if your working behind a firewall else cookies are dangerous.
Donot save your user name and passwords when u work on a Internet Cafe or a public place. Make sure if disabled the auto-complete option. ( Internet Explorer ( Tools-Internet options-Content-Auto Complete-Uncheck User names and passwords on forms ) ). This is very important always, but of websites like banking will automatically remove the cookies when u logout.

it is essential to delete all the temporary files and cookies because the take your memory and if you visit personal websites the other user can get the site and threr may be your personal data on that site or you may not want to show to others but they may see those files which you dont want to view to others

it totally depends on how you like your computer to behave. I generally delete the temporary files which are downloaded from the Internet but I keep the cookies for convenience. Different people want different types of thing. If you keep your cookies then things like passwords and address typed on the address bar remains on your computer and so it reduces my time and effort on typing the whole Web address. But I delete the temporarily incorrect files because they take a lot of space. But if you keep them you can expect off faster Web experience. This is because if the file is present on your computer then is not downloaded from the Internet and so it will be displayed faster than usual.

If you go to the Start menu - programs - accessories -system tools - disk cleanup, it clears the temporary internet files and the cookies for you. In the same system tools subhead is something called disk defragment. You'll want to do the cleanup and the defrag at least once a month. It'll drastically help your computer.
