flat screen tv or regular tv

i really prefer godd ol' television. its fun to watch in it. flat screen t.v is uncool. what do you think?

I've watched flat screens (and HD for that matter) at the store, and I've never really noticed a difference. Or if I did, it wasn't a difference that made a TV worth $1000+ to me. But that could just be because I'm a poor college student.
