I think involvement of youth in politics is very important. Voting is a very powerful tool - as is running for political office. When we don't vote, we are allowing others to make the decisions for us - and if you ask me - then we have no right to complain when we don't like what they do. I feel compelled to speak out against the actions of government - but I also feel I have a right as I am an active voter and I communicate regularly via email, letters, and calls to my legislators. We all have the responsibility to make our world a better and safer place for all.
