How much do you share with your parents?

I have always been very private, not even talking to my mother about girl problems. I actually didn't tell her about my period until a few months later. I never talked about boys, I'd blush when she'd buy me bras...you get the idea. I've been thinking that that's kind of unusual, no? I just started to be more open with my parents, though. I told my mother about my drug use and things that I would NEVER dare to mention. I think it's very interesting to compare family dynamics. So how is your family?
