I have to admit, a man with a unibrow is a turn off to me but a man that's too primped up and "pretty boy" is a real turn off to me too. So I guess it's sort of if you really need it, then it's kewl.. otherwise... just be manly.

it would be more manly to leave our eyebrows as the way they are and besides women get turned off if men do ways as women do.

Woman do not get turned off about a man taking pride in himself. Good grooming is good, as I said before the key is just to make it look like you didnt do it. Men and women all have "secret" grooming habits that they don't talk about. There is nothing wrong with taking pride in the way you look. You can still have masculine shaped eyebrows.

I think if it makes you feel better about yourself then it's just a personal preference. Some men have small features and big bushy eyebrows, I think that if they have them "Shaped" and put in proportion to their other facial features it just balances the face.
Just my own personal view, I think you look fine the way you are :)

I think a little shaping is okay. Getting rid of a unibrow and stray hairs is a great thing! It's a really really big turn off if a guy doesn't take care of them at all. As long as they are not ultra thin. I don't think this makes you more or less of a man, though. Personal choice, I say! :P

I think we are all confused here. When a girl shapes her eyebrows, she makes her eyebrow thin and curl around the eyes.
But when a man shapes the eyebrows, he let the eyebrow remains thick, checks if any stray hair is out of the usual place. And if the eyebrows are too thick, maybe trim down and give it an angle. If the eyebrow is too thin, maybe shape in such a way that it gives a more hairy eyebrow look.
But then, one should not be such fuzzy with eyebrows. And even if eyebrows are shaped, it should be in such a way that others would not notice you eyebrows are shaped, they will just think that you have nicely shaped natural eyebrows. That means a thin eyebrow or an angled or curved eyebrows would not do.

Not to make a drastic change with the eyebrows just enough to shape and fix them without really looking like they were ever done. Thanks for sharing this with us.

well, I do believe that plucking of eyebrows and making shapes is not good, I consider it as a Do not touch zone. For what is the purpose then? It is natural so, no need to shaped it. It has a purpose why it is there. good day!

Everybody has his own opinions. My own opinions keep changing time to time, like previously, I thought such feminish acts didn't suit men but when I got to know that I could improve my own looks by getting my eyebrows done, I felt there was nothing wrong with it.

Hey... to each their own. I personally am not too keen on any guy that spends a ton of time primping. I like a manly man. So pretty boys are out for me. But there are women and men out there that enjoy guys like that. So all the more power to them! LOL

The girls eyebrows should look pretty and the guys should leave theirs alone. Thank you for your opinion.

what men shaping their eye brows? Its funny. Are we imitating girls? There is nothing wrong in shaping eye brows. In my case I never used to shape my eye brows. I think men should give more importance to their character than beauty. And more than that I believe in natural beauty the beauty without any cosmetics.

I think well groomed eyebrows on a man is good. However, you have to ask them for a masculine wax if you get them waxed. The key is to make it look like you didnt do it. But Men want to look good as well as women do and most women like a man to take pride in his looks. So, I'd give you the go ahead on that one.

I'm not sure about most guys but I know some who'd rather die than go somewhere to shape their eyebrows!
of course these days even men went for manicures and pedicures. of course they don't use nail polish but still it's very pampering.

It's pretty scary that there are some guys that I see that seems to have better eyebrows than most girls.
If it's really unruly and bushy, I say, it's perfectly okay. But refrain from over tweezing or waxing, it would look a lot feminine if you shape it too much.
http://www.matteformen.com is a great resource for male facial and head care products.

Whenever I go to my local barbers who are Turkish they always ask me if I want my eyebrows trimmed and I always say YES! Definitely, I hate straggly hairs and unmanaged eyebrows, you know you see guys with bushy eyebrows, NO! I don't do them myself because they'd be uneven and look terrible so I welcome them being trimmed for me at my local barbers at no extra cost!

But I think beauty should be natural. I believe in natural beauty. Even though there is nothing unnatural with eye brow shaping. I think one should give more importance to his character than beauty.

hello howard!!
I don't think that men trimming their brows makes them less than a man as long as it is not overly done like those with girls, like me (but i don't overdo mine either). I do shape my brows and my boyfriend's too. He does have these bushy brows (a unibrow too) so i love to do it for him.lol!! And he looks good on it...

Hello Howard, how are you keeping??
I am certain that a few years ago, people frowned on men who changed the shape of their eye-brows and removed the excess hair there. It would have been the butt of endless humor.
But things are always changing and the world progresses at an amazing rate.
Now, with all the attractive modelz... both male and female,it is becoming more accepted for men to shape their eyebrows and tidy up their whole appearance as much as they want!
Sometimes ones eyebrows are just naturally too bushy and really need to be taken in hand !
Hope you are well :)
