Is it the final tour?

I have heard that this band is in its final tour. Is this true? This is an awesome group. The music is so powerful. I also heard the lead singer's wife is due or already had their first child. Did they have a boy or girl. Has anyone ever been to one of their concerts? Is it awesome? Do they usually tour with other groups?

I just got to see Mercy Me in concert with Audio Adrenaline last month.
NO Mercy me is not quitting, it is Audio A that is retiring their music ministry to go full time into their "Hand and Feet" project.
Mercy Me is awesome in concert. I have seen them in concert 2 times in the past 2 years and I wouldn't ever miss out on one in my area.
I think that they usually tour with other groups but I'm not 100% sure. I just know that they are touring with Audio A this year because Audio A is quitting.
The lead singer is Bart and I do not know much about whether or not they are having a child but I do know that he had suffered from a sickness in the past year and he is still recovering.

Thanks for the information. I will be going to see them and also Audio Adrenaline. I am so excited. I am glad to know that this is not their final tour. Also to know that for Audio Adrenaline it is but only to end this chapter and to start a new one, and I will see and hear them perform before they are finished. Thanks again.

I don't know about it being their final tour. But I do know that Bart and his wife have had their 3rd child. I personally have been to two of their concerts. One in Texas, and one in Nashville, TN the week of the GMA's in 2005. They do usually tour with other groups. The year that I went they had Jeremy Camp open for them. It was very very awesome. Later that week we ran into the whole band at the Renaissance Hotel in Nashville and my son got his picture with them.

Wow, that is awesome. Your son must have been very excited. I would be. Thanks for letting me know this is not their final tour. I wil be going to see them for the first time. Jeremy Camp is awesome too. I would like to see him in concert. His daughter and mine have the same name. I think that is cool. Thanks again :)

I'm not sure where you heard this... but I know for one thing, the lead singer, Bart, is not expecting his first child... he and his wife already have 3 kids. Here's a link to their official website:

Their website says they have tours scheduled clear through Jan 2008! I saw them last summer and they are amazing! They put on a very, very powerful concert.

I love mercy me and I also love third day. I hope it is not the final tour, maybe they are just takng a break- to enjoy time with the new baby. I love the song I can only imagine. Hope they have many more years of music!!
