No, I don't think those were true. Those were just products of the author's artistic imaginations. It was merely fiction.

I have read the da vinci code. Dan Brown claims that the facts stated in the book are true, but the novel was classified as fiction which should be read only for its entertainment value. If i believe every novel i read which were presented as factual i'm going to end up confused.

it really good....what a imagination;i say brilliant i like the novel da vinci codee very much.after reading book,many times i scared at da vinci's paintings,just for curiosity. i never noticed that but after reading the da Vinci code;i down loaded the picture and started analyzing.i really appreciate the person who noticed this fact!i think da Vinci was brilliant;i found many of his picture also each have somewhat contain a hidden message;

Well i think and it is clearly written in the Preface of the book that the facts presented in the book are very true!!!!All u people please read the preface written by Dan Brown.

The book is a novel and it is FICTION. It is not meant to be true. It's meant to be a good read. Unfortunately, many people do not seem to know exactly what fiction is and they are using a work of fiction to support their anti Catholicism. That's not too bright so I don't think they are posing any threat to the Catholic church. How can you make a valid point when you do not know the difference between fact and fiction?

Da Vinci code is a great novel but at the same time it just a FICTION. What it shows is just pure imagination. It a combination of some truths and imaginations.

dan brown has invested whole of his life doing all the research trying to find truth about jesus not to find some crap.he has presented all the rituals,artwork, documents, architecture accurately and all that can be justified by da vinci painting .how come holy grail(mary magdlene) appear in the painting "THE LAST SUPPER" that is too much for co incidence,Jesus was portrayed as a mortal person in most of the gospels but it was all commissioned by contantine -he destroyed all the gospels which spoke truth and orded an assembly to write "BIBLE" it didn't come heaven during floods.each and everything fits in this is too much for co-incidence just accept the truth no matter however bad it is

I think there is alot of contradicting evidence. however it is a fantastic story
