I was wondering if anyone else has chronic back pain and how do they cope with it? It can make you so depressed. I refuse surgery, though they have suggested it. There are too many patients I've taken care of who have had 'bad' back surgery and end up having 2 or more surgeries, resulting in even more pain. I use a heating pad at home. I have had a series of epidural injections and these have really helped with the pain. I hope they last 6 months like I was told. Let me know your experience with back pain and what has helped you. I know I should lose weight, but it is hard to exercise when it aggravates the condition.
