Have you purchased the first season of Monk?

I recently purchased the first season that has four discs and its one of the best purchases I have made this year. The season was very short with only 12 episodes, but every episode is excellent. I'm thrilled with the special features Mr Monk and His Orgins, Mr Monk and His O.C.D., Mr Monk and His Fellow Sufferers, Mr Monk and His Emmy Award-Winning Performance and Mr Monk and His Partners in Crime.

I have owned the first seaosn since it was released on DVD a few years ago. I love Monk and have every season currently out on DVD.

Its a great choice for any collection. I highly recommend this one for great acting with a cast that works together quite well. There are so many shows where the cast spend their time off the show saying terrible things about each other and how somebody was late, which doesn't happen on Monk.

I have not purchased any. However, it is my favorite show and I just love him. He is so talented. I never miss it on tv.

I love Monk!! Unfortunately they don't have it on TV in Australia anymore (they used to have it on 6:30 Saturdays but they stopped) but I have seasons 1, 2 & 3 on DVD, I love it!! I've gotten my whole family addicted to watching Monk now and we're always reciting funny quotes of his. LOL especially from the episode "Mr Monk Takes his Medicine"! I love that episode... "Splat, huh?!" hahaha.

Thanks for the reply. Sorry to see Monk isn't airing there. The quotes are quite funny and I laugh every time I see Monk trying to stay clean when he is in a real dirty place. I hope Monk starts running there this summer, as the United States will have new episodes.

I have watched seasons one to four and all episodes are great. you can watch it again and aagain and never get tired of it.
tony shaloub really fits the obsessive compulsive detective who is also kind of childish in many ways. still one of my favorite tv shows.
although i like sharona better than natalie as his associate.

I have the DVD sets for Seasons 1 and 2 but I lent them to a friend who has been sick so I haven't had a chance to watch it. Are there any extras on it and are they any good?
