Who should be older

I don't think it matters as long as both are mature responsible adults. There could be some advantages in a woman marrying a younger man though, as women live longer than men. LOL No, I didn't marry a younger man as my husband is 4 years older than I am. :)

It is older or younger is not the question ultimately. It is the level of maturity to handle any situation is important. I know a family where the wife is 45 and the man is 35. The wife is more matured not only because she is older, but also because she is brilliant. The man just have to earn money and he is taken care of. Of course she also earns money.As our family knows, they do not have age difference problem.

i dont feel age should be an issue in any marriage...as long as both people are adults, they should know what they are getting themselves into...

I guess it really doesn't matter much. For me, I'd want to be the younger because I am a girl. I'd feel a bit too masculine if I were the elder. However, I have met couples where the woman was older than the man and they were perfectly happy. Everyone is different, so whatever works for you.

Well, I don't think age would matter at all. This is just my opinion. As long we love eachother and have eachother than I'm not going to worry about our age. Well, he is older than me though. Most of the time, I think people would prefer it to be that way but now a days, i don't think people really cares about that.

I don't think it makes any difference who is older, as long as both parties are smart enough to not think that age necessarily translates into being more wise, more competent, or more intelligent. Where age becomes an issue in romance is when the older partner begins to treat the younger partner like a child, rather than as an equal.
