In my opinion, teenagers are neither good or bad. They just turn out one way or the other eventually. I think I speak for most mature people when I say that despite all the efforts man has made to civilize society, life is now more complex and a lot more difficult to deal with, with every decade that passes. There's a lot more in school to learn about and definitely a lot more in life you can make mistakes with. Unfortunately, some teenagers fall behind in coping with events and experiences, or even learning from them. Some turn out okay, partly due to support from parents and peers; some fall into misguided perceptions and delusions of society. I've fallen into the latter category at one point in my life - I'm not proud of it, but I've learned from it and it has made me stronger. Teenagers today have a lot more to deal with, and it takes them a longer time to find their place in this world. All we can do is guide them and let them choose their path - the rest is up to them: be good or be bad.
