Internet growth in india is 5 times more but laptop purchase is 5 times less!!

Well around 60-70% indian comes from Middle Class, so they dont have enough capital to spend on those Laptops rather PCs are much cheaper...

maybe because laptop cost pretty expensive, so many people in india thinking wiselly, why should I get laptop If I use only for internet, Desktop computer also can do that with a lot cheaper expense, just IMHO from me since I'm not and india people.

I think it's because computers are a lot like cars....it's easier to learn how to use them but harder to purchase or get one. It won't take much for people to learn to use the internet. A few hours of using the net would create a decent internet user whilst purchasing a computer/notebook will take a lot of time (mostly to save up for it :-)

well... laptop have a higher price than pc.. so they will buy pc than laptops to save their cost.. than they uses internet to download things.. thats saving cost... but anyway im not from india so i dono the real reason why that happens
