With my first child I did everything by the books. I fed him rice at 4 months food at 6 months then moved on to stage two when he had stage one mastered. It didn't take long at all. With my sencond child I started feeding her rice at 4 weeks and stage 1 baby food at 8 weeks. I know that isn't what is recommended but it works for us and I feel taht is all that matters.

hi there, i started feeding my baby at the age of 6 months old and she loves eating still!! she is nearly 2 and she still eats the baby food like jars of rice pudding and so on but she does eat solids too, i use them as her snack! all foods have different stages on the jar and the ages from for example stage 2 might be ages 6to 8 months, im not so sure tho but they do, just have a look on the jars! hope this helps you! :O)

I introduced semi-solids to my daughter when whe was around 4 months old but I was told that it's best to wait till they're 6 months old. By that time, the digestive system is ready.
