When preparing for a wedding, how much percentage in your budget do you allocate for:
Food
Wedding dress/attire

We allocated the most budget on the photos and videos because that will serve as our only remembrance. We wnaetd something really good that will last a long time. Something we wil be proud of 50years from now. So the biggest expense went to the photos and videos. Nextw as food and recption. Of course, its a way to thank everyone for coming. Its also important depending on the guest list you have. Next for me was the dresses for bride and groom and entourage. We all wanted to look good. And its no point to look at your pictures few years from now and "my god! did i wear that?". So thats next in line.:) Flowers i managed to make it cost effective. It does not necessarily have to be overflowing with flowers and see it go to waste because it was just used one day and all. just enough to decorate the church and beautify it. Nothing too much. The rest of the little stuff involve are just minor expenses. Details that need to be looked after but not to spend on alot fo money for. The honeymoon of course, well, we tried to be practical and said anywhere where we can enjoy and not worry about money. Practicality is imporatnat nowadays.:)
