Major disruptions to family life

I thought my life was perfect, good job, storybook wedding, loving husband. Till MS reared its ugly head! Still I was determined not to let it run my life. Had a beautiful daughter! Unfortunately I had to leave my job on disability. When my daughter was 17mo. old I had to send her to my parents because I couldn't care for her(though I get to see her alot). I'm now in a wheelchair, w/caregivers who must do everything for me. Still I manage to keep my sense of humor etc... Latest upheavel, "loving hubby" leaves me for one of my caregivers! What next!

I, too, have MS and am in a wheelchair, but I have a little more function physically than you. I have caregivers, too, because I cannot dress or wash myself thooughly, or cook. WOW! Your husband left you for a caregiver? Did you report her or sue the place she worked for? That is really tacky! My husband has been with me since before my diagnosis and then thru the beginning stages of the deterioration. When we finally married I was in a wheelchair part-time. I am glkad your parents have your baby so you can see her often. I am sorry to hear of your troubles, but keep your chin up and welcome to mylot! There are many friends here.

Thanks for the support Bee, & the very warm welcome! I manage to keep my spirits up for my daughter's sake. I have never met another 8yr old that has as much compassion & beleive it or not EMPATHY as she does. She is my world. As far as the caregiver goes.. what do they say "every dog has it's day"
