does anybody of you had a huge feelings for someone for so many years?

i had this friend since high school and we've know each other for years already. i have this really really huge feelings for him and my family knows about it. his family and my family are friends and we're also friends. the weird thing is i still feel this huge feelings for him even if we're not seeing each other so often. do you think i should just forget about this feeling and move on or should i go tell him?
i need your help :)

well as for me, i think you better tell than regret that you have'nt done it at all. what if the feeling is mutual? then you waste it if you don't ever tell him. i guess it's just a matter of gathering enough boost of confidence.
you know what? i've this friend also. we're classmates since kinder, elementary, and high school (except for grade 2 and 1st year) and he proposed his love to me now that we're in college (but we're not classmates now) he waited that long and can't really believe it and now, the relationship's doin fine.
