which beatle is better? john or paul?

i just read a 2004 issue of a UK magazine where the top 100 icons of all times are listed. Of course, all Beatles members were there. Starting from the lowest ranking, the funny one Ringo, then the silent one, George, next is the cute one, Paul, then finally, and at the number one spot at that was the clever one, John. i just think, well, for my own, that Paul deserved a higher ranking position. he was 38th by the way. a far cry from john's 1st place. besides, his contribution to the beatles was just as important if not more, than John's. there's some sort of descrimination i suppose. that just because paul is the cute one, he's somehow underestimated. well just a thought. sometimes being beautiful is a curse. :)
