Would YOU ban smoking from public places??

I wouldn't ban it. The latest regulations on smoking kind of frustrate me and I'm not even a smoker. I get annoyed because I feel like sitting and chatting to friends who are smokers, and I don't mind the smoke. Irritatingly, whenever they feel like smoking they now have to walk five miles down the road.

And like, if I was to ban it what would you do? Think I was a fat gay person and that I was just doing it because I am jealous of you?

Yes I would. Smoking kills - it kills people who don't smoke, it kills people passively, it causes damage to children who don't have any say in the matter. Smoking was banned in my country over a year ago, and I didn't realise how much it had changed my life until I went into a restaurant in England and nearly choked in the smoke. Most smokers are very selfish, and still smoke even if they see no smoking signs.

Smoking kills. Unfortunately, it takes years. Keep up the habit.

Oh that's a tough one. You see not only are the businesses and smokers affected, but so are the employees. I think that it is fine to allow smoking if you can guarantee that no employee has to go into the smoking areas. Over all I am for the smoking bad in my province, basically smoking is fine outside, or on uncovered patios.

yes, definately ban smoking in any place. You cannot contain smoke.

i guess time will come to ban smoking in pulic places like restuarants and gardens,but for me as smoker would be so annoying

No I wouldn't ban it. It should be up to the invididual business owner to decide if he wants to allow smoking or not in his establishment. The government shouldn't have a say in the matter. That way if non-smokers don't want to be around a smoker they can go to their own places and vice versa.

If I had that power then, I not only ban smoking from public place but from the world also. Can you tell me what are the benefits of smoking? I also think a person should push behind the prison if he/she smoke in public place. Because he has no right to play with public's health.

yeah, i would ban it. i'm not a smoker. and i believe that if you are a smoker you should be responsible enough with your smoking habits. there are people around you who doesn't smoke so, it's just reasonable to have put a ban on smoking from public places.
