As payment for what they have done for going and fighting for our country. Many come back with mental problems missing limbs. No money and lost many years of there lives over seas.I think it would only be fair to take care of them when they get back.Instead of living on the streets, under bridges,in the cold.

I believe the USA has a good system with regard to medical, including psychological, problems suffered by their veterans and certainly they can get treatment at the VA Hospitals plus they also get a pension, depending on their level of disability. How do you decide where these veterans live. i.e. in some sort of compound, town houses, flats, houses or what? My husband is an Anstralian veteran who has medical problems for which he receives excellent medical treatment as well as a pension. We live where we choose to and do not think that it is the responsibility of the Government to find or build accommodation for him/us.

I think that would be a great gift to a veteran. I am sure they would be grateful after the years they've commited to the service protecting us. I respect any veteran I meet, I know they have been places I have never been. They have seen and done things I will never do. I pray for all of our troops. There should be more for these brave people.
