How to treat stray child??

I was just wandering on the road and saw a child of 3-4 years old. She came to me and asked for money and tld that she is feeling hungry and want something to eat. I saw the pain in her eyes and gave her 5 bucks and purchased some food for her. I find this as a permanent problem in society. There are many more such child and starving. How to treat these child??? I want to help every one who are in need but i dun have enough money to support them. what do you guys suggest to help them. How can we improve their life??

I think all children are just the same. But the treatment they get is different. I have a question, how many of us would like to adopt a few of them and bring them up like our own children. Not many! We would find excuses from going into legal process to lacking in resources. But we can go for our own third, fourth, fifth child just for the sake of having a son. I am talking in general, but I do also feel offended when I see a stray child.

In the United States the government ptotects children from this kind of situation, but I often feel very sad to see elderly people begging for food. What kind of society values it's elderly so little? It's terrible. I wish I could help all of them too. It breaks my heart.

It is god to know that in US there is some facility. But here in india nothing of that sorts. here all polotician and alw makers aer corrupted and they never try to help ppl.

well i feel very sorry for such children (the most sweet creatures of god).why god has done such a injustice to them.pains in there eyes,starvings in their bellys.i dont now how to treat them but defenately we should be very polite to them the poor creatures.we have to help them if we are having the capacity and capability to do something.we can improve their life by giving them proper education,good health,neat and clean enviorment to grow.they should be an self independent leads a smart life not become a beggers.
