I have children and my usual problem was losing the weight and all the pregnancy fat everytime I give birth. Luckily I was able to lose it through constant work outs in the gym and a diet. I was so dedicated that after my 2nd child I was a whopping 160 lbs. after 3 months I was able to go back to a 115 lbs. -- I was even a member of the month with my gym club for being a success story. And again after my 3rd child I gained again and ended up bigger than ever -- 220 lbs! Now after 8 months I am down to 130 lbs. and still losing weight!!! My secret:2 hours minimum of working out in the gym, no rice and no meat diet---luckily I love seafoods and veggies!!! Avoid fat such as chocolates and junky food. though I reward myself once a week of anything I woyuld like to eat... a lot of spa treatments and everyday sauna and steam rituals. To all the Weight watchers out there!!! Let us help one another in sharing our experiences, comments, suggestions, recipes, and recommendations in achieving our goal to be fit and healthy. Ciao!=)

Excellent experience of yours. I also maintain my health same way. I would like to add few lines to your body care. You look to have a obese tendency. So you have to continue this for all the time through out the life, because after the age 45 to 50 years, this obese tendency has to cared more seriously. I am sure you might be already aware of this.

Its true my problem is I lose the weight quite fast yet I gain it as fast if i am not careful with what i eat nor with my activities. But so far so good: I believe that having the motivation starts it but habit makes it work.

Congrats on losing the weight, its not as easy feat. I too have just stared on my own weight loss journey and have joined the gym also, at the moment i am only spending and hour to an hour and a half there as thats all i can seem to handle right now, but hopefully as my fitness improves that will change, im also on a non diet ( when i go on on diets i fail) so i am just drinking lots of water and eating healthy day by day

For us Filipinos we had the tradition and habit of making rice as our main and basic component of our meals. In my experience the fastest way that I saw results was adjusting and organizing my habits of eating as well as what kinds of food I eat. Try to cut out as much (if not all) sweets and junk foods as you could such as chocolates, candies, cakes etc. -- you would also thank yourself for avoiding diabetes in the future. Substitute rice with other carbohydrates tghat digest faster like potatoes or pasta, if you could stay on a seafood, vegetable, and fruit diet that would be the best. Honestly me, I dont eat rice at all... I could eat as much fish or other seafoods and vegetables I want but I am not that a fanatic of carbohydrates. I would say pasta or bread substitutes my rice instead. It would be difficult in the beginning but after you wont even think there would be a difference. You could also do some exercises at home when you wake up in the morning. Like 10 sit ups a day or try to susbstitute driving or riding a car with walking. The most fun way to exercise: Go to the mall and do some window shopping---or real shopping! The walk from one store to another would be like walking on a treadmill for hours!
