Are promises made to be broken?

yes, dont complicate your life by making promises you cant keep or breaking the promises you do make. Think twice before saying "Ill be therez' or "Ill take care of that" If you are worried about hurting someones feelings by saying no think how much worse that person will feel if you make a promise and then cant carry through.

When I make a promise, I do expect that I would be able to fulfill it. Sometimes, though, due to some unforeseen circumstance, I was not able to fulfill some of them. But I don't make promises that I know I could not keep.

no fun if the promises made were not broken !!evrybody would be a promiose keeper and the world would be free from cheats which is not designed to happen and hence promises are made only to be broken!!no fun in life if u dont break promises i have done it a dozen times until noW!!

I distrust anyone I come across and I do not believe a whit of what the other one says. And above all, I distrust myself the most, for how can I trust myself when I have broken many promises I promised myself and others? I always held that one should not trust even their other hand while dealing with this thing called life, for it is treacherous and uncertain.

I never promise a thing if im not soooo sure that i can make it coz it can really make me felt bad and others too. Better give tentative promises that way you can't hurt others and that you will not have guilty feelings as well. Always say i'm not promising but i will try.... this is safe right?
