He is known as "Perfectionist" in his profession. From Kayamat Se Kayamat Tak to Raan De Basanti, he has shown his potential that he is the best actor. His performance in Lagan was outstanding and was selected for OSCAR award. Even Raan De Basanti was too selected but they failed to bag this prestigous award. His romantic movie like DIl, Mann, Dil hai ki manta nahi, sarfarosh, was superb movie. in Sarfarosh the character of ACP Rathor was wonderful and he has justified his character. he had dare to perform in historical saga like "Mangle Pandey" in which his acting was acclaimed by the masses as well as critics.
