Hmmm....okay. I don't know how much in US dollars 40-50 euros are...but we spend a lot of money each month in our house on electricity. Our electric bills is combined with water and sewer and trash collections because one company owns all three so that's how they do it. Our monthly bill is *usually* around $150-200 per month. Out of that, the electricity alone is usually $80-130 a month itself. We have a big house and six in our family. I think that - along with where you live and the rates that they charge - all makes a difference.

Just 40 dollars or so since our weather plays a factor. It is easier to pay for than our propane which we are on a budget for and pay a set amount each month. We alo have a distribution charge and whole power adjustment and a contribution pittance added in. That is about 20 dollars onto the electric bill!
If I got back into my house then the electric wouldn't really be anything. Solar and wind powered so it makes its own electricity!

I spend only the half of your costs. I use about 1100 kWh/ month.
