How can I post a TOP DISCUSSION?

hello there. i've been making it to the top discussions this past few days. but now i did not make any new discussion. but anyway, i used to get only few responses for my discussions just like you. i have many theories for this: 1. Your discussion was not noticed due to the numerous discussions started every second. 2. Your discussion is a repeated discussion. Someone has made the same discussion and people find it boring to respond to the same discussion over and over again. 3. Your discussion requires too much thinking, which will not likely attract many users because of the long time they will have to spend thinking and analyzing if they will respond to your discussion. some users here do not have internet connection of their own so they are limited bytime. Some users are students who have only a few hours to spend in mylot. they would rather opt to respond to a not so complex discussion. 4.Your discussion is something not everyone can relate to. Make discussions that people experience, that people will always have a say. Make a discussion that is relevant yet not too complicated. 5. Maybe you just did not get lucky for your posts. Remember you are only starting here in mylot. and by the way, make new friends,a lot of them. Friends help you out by responding to your discussions and giving you ratings. GOod luck to you!
